Astronaut Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Sandwich

astronaut cookies and cream ice cream sandwichAs I was cruising through Space City in my H2 Hummer Jet Hover Craft Limousine, I began to get a little hungry.  But I was not jonesing for the regular junk that normal people eat.  I needed something a little more uplifting.  Something a little more galactic.  Something “out of this world”.  I removed my space helmet and began to chow down on my Astronaut Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Sandwich.  I was a little weirded out.  The thing had no smell really and felt like a hollow wafer.  As I took the first bite out of the NASA endorsed space cookie, nearly half the thing disintegrated into millions of invisible wafer crumbs that I now hear crunch with every step in my space suit.  To get any taste at all I had to let a piece sit on my tongue for a couple light years before it finally started to sink in.  This is nothing but a cool souvenir for a 9 year old.  I love ice cream sandwiches and I love space, but this food is probably the biggest failure since the Challenger launch in ’86.
