RetroFeast: Doritos Late Night All Nighter Cheeseburger

doritos late night all nighter cheeseburIf you’ve stumbled across this site, it’s likely that you’re the type of person that puts their fries inside their burger.  Maybe when you were a kid you put your Fritos inside your sandwich.  In 2009 when Doritos released a line of snacks under the name Late Night, you were able to reverse the roles and taste the sandwich in your chips.  The flavor in these All Nighter Cheeseburgers absolutely hit the nail on the head.  I mean they were as accurate as you could possibly be when describing a drive-thru Cheeseburger that you regretfully pig out on after a long night of drinking.  It seems like in every bite I can taste a different combination of elements that make up a McDonald’s cheeseburger.  Pickles, mustard, cheese, ketchup, everything reminds me of nothing but McDonald’s. This might sound gross to a lot of people, but the more you stuff your drunken pie hole with this snack, the more intrigued you are with how well they replicated a late night burger.  In my experience, it was one of those snacks where I had to ask someone to remove the bag from my reach so I wouldn’t demolish the whole thing (a common occurrence in Dorito snacking).  I haven’t seen anything in the Late Night line of chips in a few years, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to bring it back, old or new flavors. I know 2009 shouldn’t be considered “retro” but I’m placing the tag here just because you can’t find them anymore.  Other flavors in this line included Last Call Jalapeno Poppers and Tacos at Midnight.  Drunk appreciated, stoner approved.
